לא קל להיות אוהד מכיוון שאתה יכול לבטא את עצמך רק עם שאר האוהדים ולהגיד רק כן או לא.

לדוגמה - כשיותם הלפרין עלה בהצגת השחקנים הקהל יכול רק להריע או לשרוק בוז. יותם קיבל כידוע בוז לא קטן וזה נראה כאילו האוהדים רצו לומר לו מספר דברים אך היות ואפשרויות הביטוי שלהם מוגבלות, יותם קיבל בשורה התחתונה את המסר השלילי.

בואו נראה למה האוהדים מתכוונים כשהם שורקים בוז לישראלי בעל השכר הגבוה ביותר בכל הזמנים (להזכירכם - 3 מיליון יורו ב-3 שנים. נטו!).

1. הם רצו לומר שכישראלי, הם היו מעדיפים אותו בקבוצה שלהם, על אחת כמה וכמה בתקופת מלחמה כזו. מה עוד שמהיכולות הנדירות שלו נהנית כרגע אולימפיאקוס ושכרו משקף את מה שחושב עליו המאמן ינאקיס (אחד הגארדים הגדולים בהיסטוריה של הכדורסל האירופי).

2. איפה היו אותם אוהדים כשיותם שיחק כאן במשך כמה עונות כמו גם בנבחרת ישראל (אותה הוא עדיין משרת נאמנה) ?

3. תאמינו לי שיותם היה מעדיף לשחק כאן כישראלי שקיבל את ההזדמנות להוכיח את היכולות הנהדרות שלו. אל תשכחו שהוא נבחר בסיבוב השני של דראפט ה-NBA לפני שנתיים.

4. יותם חתם עבור שכר גבוה בהרבה מכל מה שירוויח כל אוהד ששרק לו בוז בכל החיים, ואני מתכוון בעיקר לאוהדים השרופים בשער 11 ובשער 7 בהיכל.

5. האוהדים גם רצו לומר לו שהם לא רוצים שינצח את מכבי מכיוון שאין כמו ניצחון של הקבוצה של המדינה כדי להחזיר קצת את המורל לעם בזמן מלחמה כפי שקרה לא פעם בעבר.

6. האוהדים רצו לומר לו שהם רוצים שהוא יחזור לסייע למדינה. הם לא שוכחים גם שלמכבי יש חלק בעזיבה שלו בעוד שהם קיבלו 650 אלף דולר פיצויים עבור יותם. אם נסתכל על זה מהצד השני, יותם שיחק בחינם עבור מכבי במשך 3 שנים! בחינם!

אחרי הכל, מדובר בביזנס, ואני חברים, חשתי זאת על בשרי כששיחקתי במכבי בין 1988 ל-1990. הסיפור שלי שם שמור בינתיים עמי ואני אחליט אם לפרסם אותו בעיתונות אם ארגיש שזה יהיה שווה את המאמץ.

אני רוצה לומר לכל אחי ואחיותיי ברחבי ישראל וכמובן אלה שבדרום שסופגים את כל הרקטות והגראדים, תהיו ביחד ותהיו נחמדים אחד לשני ולא רק בזמן מלחמה אלא גם אחרי שהמלחמה תסתיים ובכלל לעוד הרבה שנים, אמן!!!

במקום לנסות להחזיר את יותם הביתה, הלוואי ונוכל להחזיר את גלעד שליט ואת השלווה והשקט לכולנו.

Its hard to be fans, because you can only express your self with the rest of the fans, and you can either say yea or nay .

So when they introduced Yotam Halperine the crowd can only cheer or boo.

Well, Yotam got boos but it's like the fans wanted to say different things to him, but because of the expression difficulties and limitations, Yotam can only get the negative message.

Let's see what the fans mean when they booed the highest Israeli paid basketball player of all times ( 3 millions Euro for 3 years Net).

1. They wanted to say that they wish Yotam, as an Israeli, at times where our Israeli Army and nation is at war, would be with us. On our side. Helping our togetherness .and with such scarce athletic abilities of our sports man, the fans would rather have Yotam here, especially when a team like Olympiakos is paying him according to what yanakis ( one of the best guards in Europe's History) thinks, elevating the respect for Yotma's game.
2. But where were they when he played here for years ,and for the national team which he still is a big part off?
3. Believe me, Yotam would rather be here as an Israeli who got all of his chances to be the great basketball player he is today, don’t forget getting drafted in the 2ed round of the NBA 2 years ago.
4. He signed for much more money, which every body on the booing fans would never make in His 3 life times, and I mean the whole section 11 + 7 in Nokia arena. (Correct me if I'm wrong on the numbers which used to be famous in yad Eliyahoo.)
5. They wanted to tell him that they don’t want him to beat maccabi because the team of Israel helps our mood as citizens and fans during the struggle of survivor all through the years, and especially now where this war is taking out any enjoyment left.
6. They wanted to tell him that they want him back to help their country.

They also remember that maccabi is also a part of this release, when they received 650,000$ as compensation for Yotam, where if you look at it on a reverse way, Yotam played for free for 2-3 years for maccabi!!! For free.

It's a business, and I ,my friends, felt it very well back when I played for maccabi.1988-90 My story is kept FOR NOW , I will decide if to release this story to the press if I feel it's worth it.

But for now I can say, that it's hard to run a business and country in the same vicinity.

You can take the example of our politicians fighting this war instead of letting the military experts decide upon our living here in Israel.

It's like taking a guy who never fired a gun, and letting him be security minister of defense of Israel………does that make sense to you? It's like taking a ballerina and telling her to play tennis in Wimbledon to win

its all politics.

I want to wish my fellow brothers and sisters in Israel and in the south, taking all theses grads and missiles in, to stay together, and be nice to each other, not only during a war, but also when this war will be over with for years to come amen!!!

And instead of bringing Yotam home bring Gilad Shalit and peace to us all.
